We take great pride in the high quality of our homes, and in the event a warrantable issue arises with your new home, we will gladly address it. We offer the following suggestions to make this process as efficient and expedient as possible.

  • Confirm the situation you encounter is warrantable under the Ontario New Home Warranties Plan Act. In addition to the Tarion Homeowner Information Package you receive upon closing, the website for Tarion Warranty Corporation (www.tarion.com) provides assistance in determining eligibility.
  • Follow the same reporting timeframes as established by Tarion, when possible (e.g. thirty days, one year, and two years following possession). It is not necessary to file the statutory warranty forms with Tarion in order to receive service – we will resolve warrantable issues regardless of Tarion's involvement.
  • Contact us immediately in the rare case of an emergency (i.e. a situation in which there is a concern for safety or material property damage). Should you encounter a complete loss of heat or hot water and our office is closed; your emergency contact is: Alma Mechanical 905-697-5775
  • Please do not approach trades people, on-site Jeffery Homes staff, or sales office staff with your service requirements. We dispatch all service work from our head office in order to efficiently administer and monitor it.
